Windom Fire Department was paged to a rollover accident on Highway 60 and mile marker 45 (near Bingham Lake) at 3:57pm on Wednesday. According to Fire Chief Ben Derickson, Windom Fire arrived on scene at 4:03pm and found a vehicle that was pulling a camper had gone into the ditch and rolled. Both the driver and passenger were transported to Windom Area hospital. Windom Towing was called to tow the vehicle and remove the camper from the ditch. Windom fire was on scene until 4:54pm. Also on scene was Windom Ambulance, Windom Police Department, State Patrol, and Cottonwood County Sheriff Department.

Mt Lake Police Department reported five calls July 10th to the 16th. Officers handled a group of juveniles displaying suspicious behavior in town and assisted other agencies with a driving complaint that they were unable to locate and with removing debris from a roadway. Mt Lake Officers also delt with two different animal calls, one dog bite and one loud barking call.
