Pink Floyd- Dark Side of the Moon Laser Light show will be presented at the SMSU planetarium this next weekend Friday the 24th through Monday the 27th. All showtimes start at 7pm. On February 27th 1973, EMI Records held a press conference for the debut presentation of Pink Floyd’s new album The Dark Side Of The Moon at the London Planetarium. There was already a buzz throughout the music industry that the album was something very special and invites for London’s press and media were at a premium with there being only so many seats in the planetarium. To recognize this great timeless album, the SMSU planetarium will present “Dark Side Of The Moon” set to mesmerizing laser light effects with fog and beams. There is no better way to celebrate this timeless classic than in a comfortable planetarium seat immersed in stunning visual effects that only lasers can provide! Tickets will only be sold at the door and are $5 per person. Seats are on a first come first serve basis so you are encouraged to come early. The show starts at 7pm and once doors are closed there will be no more entry permitted. Planetarium is located on campus at 1501 State Street Marshall MN. A map is available on the KDOM Website under Local Headline News.
