ALL WINDOM SCHOOL PROGRAMS HAVE BEEN POSTPONED FOR TONIGHT.
The Elementary concerts will be on Sunday. Kindergarten & 1st grade will perform at 6pm and 2nd & 3rd Grade will perform at 7pm in the Gold Gym at the Middle/High School.

Windom Theater’s Free Merchant Matinee will be showing Bad Guys this weekend the 17th and 18th. Shows start at 1pm and doors open ½ hour before showtime. Come enjoy the hot buttered popcorn and get your laugh on!!

The Windom Police Department had two theft reports. On the 14th Smith Automotive of Windom reported the theft of a Catalytic Converter off a Subaru Outback that he was working on at his business. The owner is currently looking at the rest of his vehicles to see if any others are missing converters or have damage. An officer also took a report of a Rockford Fostgate speaker system stolen from a vehicle that was parked in an attached garage in the 800 block of 12th Street. Estimated value of loss is $285. Also on the 14th, an officer received a report of an assault by a 12-year-old Windom Student to two staff members at the Red Rock Ridge ALC School. The case is being reviewed by the County Attorney’s Office for possible charges of Assault in the 5th Degree.

The Windom Area School District School Board rescheduled its Special Meeting to Monday, December 19th at 5pm. This closed meeting will be to discuss pending litigation. The meeting will be held in the Windom Elementary School Conference Room.

Red Rock Central School District Board of Education will be meeting Monday, December 19th at 5pm in Lamberton.

Windom Area Health Governing Board of Directors will meet on Monday the 19th at 5:30pm in the Large Conference Room at the Hospital.

Cottonwood County Board of Commissioners will be meeting on Tuesday December 20th at 9am at the Cottonwood County Courthouse. At 11:45 am the Board of Commissioners will hold a closed meeting as permitted by MN Statute 13D.05 Subd. 3(b) to discuss the following litigation- FSG Ag Acquisition Company LLC vs Cottonwood County.

The Jackson County Board of Commissioners and the Drainage Authority will be meeting on Tuesday, December 20th at 9am in the Jackson County Courthouse in the Commissioners Board Room. At the end of the meeting the Commissioners will go into closed session as per MN Statute 13D.05 Subd. 3 8.1 for the performance Evaluation of County Administrator, Ryan Krosch
