A new program is being offered to students in Cottonwood and Jackson County. According to Brian Joyce, Windom Middle/High School Principal, Windom Schools are partnering with Jackson County Schools, Mt Lake Public and Christian Schools as well as many key business leaders in all three communities to build a CEO Program to offer area students in the Cottonwood Jackson County areas starting with the 23-24 school year. According to Joyce, the CEO program is unlike any other class, but will still be a class that students earn high school credits for. An advisory board will be recruiting investors to fund the program for the first three years and beyond. The CEO program will hire a local individual to work as the program facilitator. According to Joyce, the CEO Program is an opportunity to help students grow in the capacity to be the leaders of tomorrow in our communities.
