The weather might not be screaming Summer but the City of Windom is gearing up for the Summer Recreation Activities and according to Recreation Director Tim Hogan there is a new friendlier registration platform called ActiveNet that the City will be using.
You can gain access to this new link by going to the City Website or there is also a link on the FaceBook page. Once a user has created an account with a username and password they can sign all of their children up for whatever activities they wish.
According to Hogan in the past the program that was used wasn’t phone friendly but this new software allows you to use your smart phone a computer or tablet.
Hogan doesn’t anticipate too many complications with this new program but says it is NEW so there may be some issues so he asks for the communities patience and encourages anyone struggling to message him with any issues. IF you don’t happen to be tech savvy stop down to City Hall and someone will be happy to help you out. If you have questions or problems Hogan says best way to get ahold of him is by calling him at 507-822-0514.
Swimming Lessons will be viewable online Friday 4/22/2022 with registration opening on Monday 4/25/2022 and the pool is tentatively opening on June 10th.
As always, summer activity spots fill extremely fast so Hogan encourages everyone to get their accounts created and get registered!!
