Did you know that today is National Zoo Lovers Day? This is a fun day for me because it always makes me think of my niece Sarah who works at the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha NE. I grew up loving to go to the zoo and see all the wonderful and amazing animals. In the United States April 8th brings all the zoo animal enthusiasts together to celebrate this significant day! Zoos are much more than just conservation sites for endangered species, they also provide education, research, and entertainment purposes. Zoos have been traced back to 4000 B.C. Enjoy the day, go to your favorite zoo today and enjoy!!!  I am also digging the fact that today is National All Is Ours Day! What this means is that it is a day devoted to appreciating all the things of beauty and nature around us. Today, get out if you can and enjoy everything from the beauty of the birds in your backyard to visiting a local park or even just taking a stroll in your neighborhood. TODAY just enjoy Mother Nature. Also, this day is all about loving and being grateful for all that we possess.
