WEDNESDAY WAS THE FINAL DAY OF THE STATE GOLF MEET.
CLASS ‘A’ GIRLS TEAM SCORE: Lac Qui Parle Valley took the team title with a net score of 720. Adrian finished in 4th place.
CLASS ‘A’ GIRLS INDIVIDUAL SCORES: The State Championship was shared by Emily Stueland of Park Christian and Sarah Halvorson of LQPV, each shooting a net 166 total.
Among local golfers: Kayla Goblirsch of NUC had a 2-day total of 176. Lauren Bowyer of Minneota had a 186. Taya Elias led Adrian with a 190. Elly Bang of HOLF finished with a 92 Wednesday and a 194 total good for 35th place. Meakin Bang of HLOF had a 102 Wednesday and a 196 total good for 40th place. Brielle Vis of SW MN Christian/Edgerton had a 199 total. Morgan Engholm of Cedar Mt had a 209 total. Liz Schwint of SE had a 216 total.
CLASS ‘A’ BOYS TEAM SCORE: Fertile-Beltrami won the Team Title. Sleepy Eye finished in 3rd place. Adrian was 8th.
CLASS ‘A’ BOYS INDIVIDUAL SCORES: The State Champ was Rylin Petry of Fertile-Beltrami.
Among area golfers: Logan Haala of NUC and Mavrick Winkelman of Springfield tied for 6th place with totals of 151. Christopher Thram of Springfield had a 161 total. Hunter Schmidt of MCW had a 169 total. Will Carlson of Wabasso had a 176 total. Chase Christensen of R-T-R had a 186 total. Sawyer Drent of HLOF finished with a 191 total. Dawson Tutt of MCC had a 193 total.
CLASS ‘2A’ GIRLS TEAM SCORE: Lake City won the Team title. Fairmont finished in 7th place.
CLASS ‘2A’ GIRLS INDIVIDUAL SCORES: The State Champ was Mallory Belka of Perham with a 148. Julian Brown of Redwood Valley finished with a 175 total. Emma Budden of Pipestone had a 184 total. Mila Jenniges of Redwood Valley had a 185 total. Madison Beckmann of Worthington had a 202 total.
CLASS ‘2A’ BOYS TEAM SCORE: Cloquet won the Team title. Blue Earth was 4th.
CLASS ‘2A’ BOYS INDIVIDUAL SCORES: Sam Baker of Cloquet won with a 141 total. Ashton Lloyd led Blue Earth with a 150. Connor Josephson of RV had a 162 total.
CLASS ‘3A’ GIRLS TEAM SCORE: Alexandria won the Team title.
CLASS ‘3A’ GIRLS INDIVIDUAL SCORES: Reese McCauley of Simley was the State Champ with a 5-under-par 139 total.
CLASS ‘3A’ BOYS TEAM SCORE: Maple Grove won the team title.
CLASS ‘3A’ BOYS INDIVIDUAL SCORES: Nate Stevens of Northfield was the State Champ with a 134 total.
