LOCAL SPORTS   —    track results   6/4/21 
 
A SUB-SECTION TRACK MEET WAS HELD THURSDAY IN REDWOOD FALLS.   
 
THE TOP FOUR PLACES IN EACH EVENT QUALIFIED FOR THE SECTION TRACK MEET.   FOUR “WILD-CARD” ENTRIES WILL ADVANCE TO THE SECTION MEET IF THEY ARE AMONG THE BEST TIME OR DISTANCES FROM THE THREE SUB-SECTION MEETS.   
 
IN THE GIRLS TEAM STANDINGS, JACKSON COUNTY CENTRAL WAS 1ST WITH REDWOOD VALLEY 2ND, BOLD 3RD, HERON LAKE-OKABENA/FULDA 4TH, WINDOM 5TH, LAKEVIEW 6TH, MT LAKE AREA-COMFREY 7TH, WWG-RRC 8TH AND WABASSO 9TH. 
 
FOR WINDOM: Delaney Smith was 1st in the Shotput and Discus.  Gracie Bucher was 1st in the 400.  Kaylee Walklin was 1st in the 3200.  Jadyn Wormstadt was 1st in the High Jump.  Haidyn Sammons was 2nd in the 1600.  Windom was 1st in the 4×400 Relay, 2nd in the 4×200 Relay and 2nd in the 4×800 Relay.   
 
FOR H-L-O/F:  Morgan Gehl was 1st in the 800 and 1st in the 1600.  Anna Fest was 1st in the 100 Hurdles, 2nd in the 300 Hurdles and 2nd in the High Jump.  Samantha Untiedt was 2nd in the 100 Hurdles, 3rd in the 300 Hurdles and 3rd in the Long Jump. Maddie Schumacher was 2nd in the 100 and 3rd in the 200.  Faith White was 3rd in the Pole Vault.  Rebecca Cheadle was 4th in the High Jump. 
 
FOR M-L-A-C: Kate Janzen was 2nd in the 800.  Lana Kestner was 3rd in the 400.  Haily Green was 4th in the 300 Hurdles.  MLAC was 3rd in the 4×400 Relay.   
 
FOR WWG-RRC: Elizabeth Strock was 2nd in the 400.  WWG-RRC was 4th in the 4×200 Relay.   
 
 
IN THE BOYS TEAM STANDINGS, REDWOOD VALLEY WAS 1ST, J-C-C 2ND, BOLD 3RD, MT LAKE AREA-COMFREY 4TH, WINDOM 5TH, LAKEVIEW 6TH, HERON LAKE-OKABENA/FULDA 7TH, WABASO 8TH AND WWG-RRC 9TH.   
 
FOR M-L-A-C: Cole Kleven was 3rd in the 400.  Kody Wassman was 2nd in the 3200 and 3rd in the 1600.  Cayden LaPointe was 3rd in the 110 Hurdles and 3rd in the 300 Hurdles.  Caden Swoboda was 4th in the 1600.  Jordan Toll was 4th in the Triple Jump.  Wyatt Wall was 4th in the Shotput. MLAC was 3rd in the 4×100 Relay and 3rd in the 4×400 Relay.   
 
FOR WINDOM: Cameron Alm was 1st in the 400.  Dylan Serreyn was 1st in the High Jump and 1st in the Triple Jump.  Alex Altman was 2nd in the Discus and 3rd in the Shotput.  Bryan Macario Rios was 3rd in the 800.  Windom was 1st in the 4×400 Relay, 4th in the 4×200 Relay and 4th in the 4×800 Relay.    
 
FOR H-L-O/F:  Aiden Lorenzen was 3rd in the Pole Vault.  Zach Thier was 1st in the Shotput and 3rd in the Discus. The Coyotes were 4th in the 4×400 Relay. 
 
FOR WWG-RRC:  The Chargers were 4th in the 4×100 Relay.
